شرکت HP مدت زمانی است مجموعه نرم افزاری را برای بروز رسانی Firmware های سرور های تولید شده خود تحت عنوان Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) در اختیار کارشناس فنی و نماینگی های خود در سراسر دنیا قرار می دهد . طی این چند سال شرکت HP همیشه در ماه آوریل و سپتامبر اقدام به انتشار این بسته بروز رسانی میکند که ما با فاصله اندک در این پست قصد داریم ضمن معرفی این بسته نرم افزاری ارزشمند به بحث در مورد ویژگی های این نسخه و نحوه استفاده آن بپردازیم .
این بسته نرم افزاری که به صورت یه فایل ISO در اختیار شما قرار گرفته است . می تواند به عنوان یک Bootable DVD بر روی یک سرور مورد استفاده قرار گیرد ضمن اینکه امکان اجرای نسخه تحت ویندوز آن برروی سیستم عامل نصب شده بر تجهیزات سروری HP را نیز دارد.شما به کمک این Service Pack می توانید جدای از بروز رسانی Firmware سخت افزار اصلی سرور،Firmware تمامی تجهیزات تولیدی شرکت HP اعم از انواع کنترلر و HBA های و .. تولیدی این شرکت را نیز بروز کنید .
اما این بار شرکت HP با فاصله کمی از انتسار نسخه قبلی نسخه جدیدی با نام HPE Service Pack For ProLiant (SPP) Version 2018.09.0 ارائه داد که در واقع این نسخه موارد خاصی مربطو به سرور های G9 و G10 , همچنین محصولات VMware را بهبود بخشیده و مشکلات موجود در نسخه قبلی را برطرف کرده است .

Release Summary:

Smart Update Manager v8.3.5
Note: VMware ESXi 6.7 online updates are not yet supported on Gen 9 and Gen 10 servers due to an issue with the VMware Common Information Model (CIM) interface on VMware ESXi 6.7. Advisory: VMware – Service Pack for ProLiant Version 2018.06.0 Does Not Support Online Updates On Any HPE ProLiant/Synergy Servers Running VMware ESXi 6.7 provides additional information.
